This is why we are inviting you to the University Centre and giving you the chance to see for yourself the courses that we offer and, most importantly, the students studying on them.

 

Our students work extremely hard and this Showcase is an opportunity for them to show you what life is really like at the University Centre Barnsley.

You will have the opportunity to discuss what our course programme offers our students, and what it will offer you. You will also discover what it’s like to be at university on a day-to-day basis and what you will achieve not only when you graduate but also as you develop on your course.

The University Centre Barnsley, part of the University of Huddersfield, opened in August 2005. Since this time our student numbers have doubled and we believe this is because of the variety of courses we offer you and the facilities that are available to you when you study with us.

What’s On?

You will be spoilt for choice of things to see and discover on the evening including:

• Our Art and Design students unveil their Graduate Degree Show
• See ‘live’ broadcasts from our industry-standard TV studio
• Be entertained throughout the evening by our music students

As well as viewing work from a variety of all of our courses.

The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
